Cycling in Switzerland: Geneva to Dardagny

Dardagny a village surrounded by vineyards near the Westernmost side of Switzerland is a beautiful destination for cycling starting from Geneva.

Here is an itinerary that goes through Cycling lanes and Hiking paths

  1. Start at the bike shop just behind Cornavin Train station. You can pump your wheels, adjust your bike with biking tools, or even rent bikes from here.
  2. Follow the bike lanes from the Geneva train station. Download this KML Document to get turn by turn directions loaded into your app.
  3. Pass by a paved cycling road in the midst of forest called Bois des Frères
  4. Cycle off-road in hiking paths in Bois de Merdisel. This area can get very muddy!
  5. Cycle from Satigny to Dardagny through cycle lanes
  6. The Path ends at Auberge de Dardagny, the Gigot d’Agneau (Lamb legs) with gratin dauphinois is excellent!
